How can I pay?

We use PayPal as our payment processor, so we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Or, you can pay using your PayPal balance.

Is your site secure?

Yes. You pay through PayPal, the world's premier electronic payment solution, not through this site. We never even see your credit card number; PayPal just tells us that you've paid and we ship you your stuff. We get your money through PayPal later.

Do I have to have a PayPal account to buy?

No, you can pay with your credit card without a PayPal account.

Payment Policy

YayBeads accepts PayPal and credit card payments through PayPal. Your items will be shipped as quickly after your payment clears as possible, often on the next business day; sometimes within 2-3 days. You will be notified that your item(s) have shipped and receive the delivery confirmation number (if applicable) so that you can track the progress of your package.

Out of Stock Items

YayBeads specializes in limited quantities of special beads and often one-of-a-kind stones. Sometimes our website allows us to oversell items. Until we discover the cure for these occasional small bumps in the road, if one occurs in your order, we will email you to let you know which items are unavailable and will refund you for those items through your PayPal account within 2-3 business days.

Refund Policy

Items are photographed and described to be best of my ability because I want you to be happy with your YayBeads purchase. Please don't hesitate to ask questions prior to purchase.

If I've made an error in describing the item, I'll be happy to refund your money upon receipt of the returned item as long as it is returned in the original packaging and is received in the same, unused condition they were shipped. Upon receipt and approval, you will be refunded your purchase price and shipping, along with my sincere apologies.

You may return an item if you don't like it; however, shipping fees are non-refundable. A 10% restocking fee may apply

Items not accepted from the post office and/or customs are refundable only if returned in the condition they were originally shipped.  Shipping/handling fees and a 10% restocking fee are nonrefundable.

International Purchases: Items returned for non-acceptance or non-payment of taxes, duties, etc. will be refunded purchase price, less a 10% restocking fee upon receipt of returned package. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Items not returned cannot be refunded; this includes items abandoned or held at customs.

You will be notified via email that your item as been returned and received by YayBeads. Upon confirmation, you will be refunded as noted above through PayPal. Please note that the post office returns item at a much slower pace than originally shipped (3-6 months is not unusual). That will delay your refund.

Shipping Policy

All US domestic items are shipped first class parcel with delivery confirmation. Larger items or purchases may be automatically upgraded to USPS priority. California buyers are subject to a 9.5% sales tax. The best value is if you purchase several items to be shipped together.

Non-US purchases are welcome, but buyer is responsible for all import, duty, and customs taxes, etc. that are levied by their government. Items returned for non-payment of these taxes/duties will be notified upon receipt of returned goods. You must confirm to be refunded purchase price, less a 10% restocking fee and shipping/handling fees.

International purchasers should note that, depending on season and customs, packages may take from 2-5 weeks. Please be patient if your package takes a while to arrive--it is at the discretion of the postal service and customs. If you are concerned, please take the confirmation number, which is actually the customs number assigned to your package, and check with your postal service to see if they can track it. It could just be delayed in customs.
 
Please note that YayBeads does not ship to the following countries: Afghanistan, Angola, Bolivia, Burma, Congo, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Ivory Coast (Cote d'Ivoire), Liberia, Mexico, Nigeria, North Korea, Paraguay, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela; also the following Russian and other Commonwealth of Independent States countries (includes Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan).

NOTE: This list may change without notice. You may go ahead and purchase, but your order may be canceled and refunded. You will be notified if this is the case.

Domestic Shipments (USA)

Please check the delivery confirmation number sent to you and check with your mail carrier or local post office. You package may be sitting in your local post office waiting for you to pick it up!  If the post office confirms that your package is lost, please contact YayBeads to fill out an affidavit of non-receipt required for an insurance claim.

International Shipments

Please note that international packages may take 2-8 weeks to get to various parts of the world; sometimes longer. If available, please check the delivery confirmation link and be sure to give it enough time.

If it seems to be taking more than the usual amount of time, please take the delivery confirmation number to your local post office and ask them to check its status. They should be able to find out if your package is delayed in customs (and sometimes the inquiry "shakes it loose".)

Miscellaneous

Reserved listings will be held for one week in most instances. At that time reserved listings will be un-reserved and any associated offers will expire.
 
Putting something in your shopping cart without paying will not reserve your selected items. Since YayBeads offerings are often one-of-a-kind or limited in quantity, it is best to purchase immediately.

If you purchase and then decide to add something. I am happy to combine shipping as long as notify me before your shipping label is printed and/or your package is sealed.

Deposits are non-refundable.

Props such as coins, shells, sand, driftwood, etc. used in photographs are not included in your purchase. You will receive what is declared in the item title and listing description. Please read through it all. It'll make you happier with your purchase and it will make me happy that you read what I worked so hard to write!
