RARE Hematite After Magnetite Pseudomorph Natural Payun Volcano Argentina HPM-8
This specimen has the "X" factor: When the Payun volcano in Argentina erupted several years ago, it created these magetite turned hematite crystal structures (pseudomorph). A short while later, it erupted again and covered up the field of rare stones! Most specimens are craggy, like the specimen in the photo with the label, but this one was shaped almost like an pyramid with some well-defined crystalline points! I was very fortunate to stumble across a few of these specimens, but even among unique rocks, this stone is rare. Keep as a specimen or make a unique pendant. A conversation piece either way!
You will receive the one specimen shown in the first two photos: both sides are shown in the photos (the specimens with the label is a stock photo).
